Self Catering Accommodation

Kiln Rigg Bothy is situated in the heart of roman wall country.We are positioned only yards away from the Hadrian's wall trail but also providing ideal access to historic Hexham town and surrounding areas.

Bothys were traditionally single storey buildings providing shelter for travellers, today our bothy still provides shelter for guests but to much greater standard and with far greater comfort. The Bothy still retains much character and charm with that home from home feel.

The Bothy has ample parking,well presented mature lawns, patio terraces and lovely seating areas. Our aim is to provide guests with the highest possible standards of accommodation and we find our reward in our guests satisfaction.

Within the house grounds is a traditional stone built Bothy dated 1780 which provides self catering accommodation. Facilities consist of reception lounge / sleeping area, kitchen and shower room.

Check in at Kiln Rigg is from 3.30pm on day of arrival and Vacation on departure day on or before 10.00am. We are a non smoking establishment.
